Also known as Bloody Game. The first new brain survival show of the 2020s, advertised as "an unfair and irrational game" — which it definitely proves to be at points. Currently 3 seasons are out with surprisingly different flavors. S1 was produced by the same person behind Money Game (Jin Yong-jin), but S2 onward had no input from him. Note the first two seasons' final episodes are bonus-clip showcases (S1's combined with a reunion) and aren't required viewing. An all-star season, Game of Blood X, is on the way.

When to watch
Season 1: after The Genius and Society Game (Girls' High Mystery Class S1 helps). Season 2: watch Money Game first (or read the r/koreanvariety drama post). Season 3 rewards you for having watched the players' prior shows — IMPERATIVE: The Time Hotel, University War S1, The Influencer. GOBX: after Black Sheep Game & University War S3.
How to watch
S1: one episode at a time (maybe watch eps 4–5 together). S2: two episodes at a time, go in completely blind. S3: batch eps 1–2, 3–5, 6–7, 13–14; eps 8–12 one at a time. S2 pairs well with The Time Hotel & Devil's Plan S1 (all filed early 2023); S3 pairs with University War S2 & Devil's Plan S2 (all filmed Aug 2024).
